Plant Rate of Growth
Often people think that the faster a plant grows, the more wonderful it is. Faster growing plants need to be pruned frequently or they dominate their space and intrude into your space or into other plants. Sometimes it is preferable to have a slow growing plant. They keep a compact shape, and can remain in the same space for several years. Kentias, Mass Cane, Warnekeis, Janet Craig, some aglaeonemas and spathiphylum, raphis, neantha bella, are some examples of slow growing, compact plants.
